Interrent Belarus Rental Terms for travel between 01-Aug-2015 and 31-Dec-2019
The present terms and conditions are an integral part of the Car Rental Agreement on the other side. By signing this Agreement the Renter testifies his consent with the present terms and conditions.
1. OBLIGATIONS OF THE RENTER
1.1. The Lessee guarantees that he or other persons authorized to drive the Car in accordance with the present Agreement:
1.1.1. have all necessary permissions, licenses and certificates giving the right to operate the vehicle;
1.1.2. earlier have never received refusal in obtaining of an automobile insurance or personal liability insurance;
1.1.3. earlier have never been deprived of operating the vehicle in any country;
1.1.4. regarding these persons there is no:
• any court decisions banning driving or any legal case due to a traffic accident resulted in penalties;
• any legal prosecutions on committed road accidents;
• any physical or mental illness or disorders preventing from driving;
1.1.5.The mentioned persons have not been deprived of the right to drive because of alcohol or drug abuse.
1.2. The Lessee shall make all his claims about the condition of the Car, if any, while returning the Car and indicating his claims in the Acceptance Report.
1.3. The Lessee shall fully indemnify the Lessor for any loss of or damage of the car during the rental period, including the lost profit while the car is under repair.
1.4. The Lessee shall provide the security of the car during the full rental period.
1.5. The Lessee by himself and at his own expense shall fuel the car with adaquate kind of fuel, wind shield fluid, check and maintain the oil and cooling liquid levels, keep up the pressure in tires. In the periods, when the Lessee does not use the car, the Lessee shall switch on the car alarm system.
1.6. The Lessee shall immediately report about the location of the car upon the Lessor's request. The Lessee shall not use the car outside Republic of Belarus, if the Agreement is not stated otherwise.
1.7. The Lessee shall not use the car for purposes it is not meant for. The Lessee shall not use the car for trailing other vehicles, in car races, for driving off-roads, for transportation of cargos violating customs law, or for any other illegal purposes. It is prohibited to drive if alcohol, drug or any other substance abused, ill or fatigued.
1.8. The Lessee shall not be entitled to alienate the car in any form, including transfer the car for rental or conclusion of other rent-a car service agreements with a third party, use the car for taxi service or renting out, assign the rights under the Agreement to a third party. It is forbidden to remove or modificate any external signs indicating the Lessor's rights on the car.
1.9. The Lessee shall not do any repair works with the car without prior written permission from the Lessor.
1.10. The Lessee shall pay at his own expence all parking fees and other charges during the rental period. In case the Lessor pays the mentioned fees and charges, the Lessee shall indemnify the Lessor for these expences immediately.
1.11. The Lessee is fully liable for any claims or actions resulting from non-compliance with the present Agreement provisions.
1.12. The Lessee shall inform the Lessor immediately about any damage to the car, as well as car theft or loss for any othe reason. If there is any threat of the car damage, the Lessee shall stop using the car.
1.13. In case of the car damage or traffic accident the Lessee shall:
• immediately call for the road police representative,
• obtain a copy of the official written statement of the accident with a detailed list of damages;
• write down the names and addresses of the witnesses, if any,
• within 10 days, submit to the Lessor all documents required by insurance company to indemnify for the insurance case
1.14. In case the car damage results from actions of a third party (theft, vandalism, etc.), the Lessee shall:
• report the accident immediately to the local police station,
• within 10 days, submit to the Lessee an official written statement from the police station .
1.15. If the car is lost for any reason the Lessee shall:
• report immediately to the nearest police station,
• return the keys and car registration card to the Lessor.
1.16. The Lessee shall reimburse to the Lessor for the damages in the amount calculated by the Lessor in the following cases:
• if the car damage or loss resulted from a non-insurance case;
• if the car damage could not be covered by the insurance payments.
• if the Lessee fails to observe the provisions of the present Agreement;
1.17. The Lessee shall be utterly liable in case of car absence, damage or other claims concerning the car parts.
2. RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS OF THE LESSOR
2.1. The Lessor guarantees that by the moment the car is leased to the Lessee the car is in adaquate technical condition and fit for use with the purpose it is meant for. No car damage during the rental period shall be ragarded as the Lessor's non-observance of the Agreement.
2.2. If the car is regarded as not fit for use, the Lessor has the right to change the car for another one and at his own discretion if it is technically possible.
2.3. The Rental Agent can never be held responsible for any loss or damage resulted from malfunctions or breakage of the vehicle happened out of the Rental Agent fault, as well as for the loss or damage to the property left in the vehicle by the Renter or other persons.
2.4. The Lessor has the right to terminate the Agreement ahead of schedule and entitled to demand immediate return of the car in case the Lessee violates any provisions of the Agreement, or if the Lessee provides false information while entering the Agreement. In that case the Lessee shall return the car without delay after receiving a notification from the Lessor on termination of the Agreement.
3. OBLIGATIONS OF THE LESSEE ON RETURN OF THE VEHICLE
3.1. The Lessee shall return the vehicle to the place where the vehicle was picked up or to any other place if there is a prior written agreement with the Lessor. The vehicle should be returned in time stated in the Agreement or in case of pre-schedule termination of the Agreement immediately after its termination.
3.2. If the Lessee fails to return the vehicle to the point stated in the Agreement will be applied penalty.
3.3. Both parties shall approve the return of the vehicle by signing the bilateral Acceptance Report.
3.4. When the Lessee fails to return the vehicle in time stated in the Agreement, the Lessor has the right to report to the police.
3.5. The Lessee shall return the vehicle with the level of fuel no less than at the beginning of the rental period.
4. TERMS OF PAYMENT
4.1. The Lessee pays for the services provided according to the rates specified by the Lessor in the Agreement at the time of check-out.
4.2. In case of the vehicle is not returned in time, besides the amount of rental fees, calculated for each extra day according to established tariffs, the Lessee shall pay rental fee for each extra day calculated as specified in the Agreement and a penalty in the amount specified in the Rates for additional services and penalty charges. The Lessor considers the vehicle is not returned in time when the return is delayed for more than one hour.
4.3. To fulfill the obligations under the Agreement, the Lessor demands a deposit payment which will be returned after the end of rental contract in case all the terms and conditions have been fulfilled by the Lessee.
5. PENALTY CHARGES
5.1 Lessee compensates to the Lessor caused damage in the following cases:

Tire damage – 600 EURO

5.2. Penalty charges are payed in Rental Agreement currency according to the current National Bank exchange rate of the Republic of Belarus.

Our total liability to you in relation to your use of this website and the information contained on this website will not exceed the dollar amount of the deposit we have received from you in relation to your booking/rental. Refunds will not be made for bookings cancelled due to inclement weather. Again, we strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance. Your use of this website is governed by the laws of New Zealand and the jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
To make a booking you must complete our booking form which is easy to follow and secured with the latest encryption technology. Once we receive your form, we will, subject to availability, confirm your booking by emailing you a confirmation voucher and invoice.

Our reservations consultant will ask you if you have read the terms and agree to them before proceeding. Vehicle capacity and fitness to drive
Under no circumstances are you permitted to carry more passengers than the vehicle you rent is legally registered to carry, and if you do your insurance may be invalidated. The number of seatbelts (and passengers) is indicated next to each vehicle on this website. Luggage capacity where shown is an indication only and we will not be responsible should you be unable to fit your entire luggage into a vehicle. It is your responsibility to choose a journey that is within your capabilities. A vehicle supplier can refuse to rent a vehicle to any person who is in their opinion unfit to drive or does not meet eligibility requirements. In such circumstances we will have no further liability to you.
In the event of cancellation, any deposit amounts paid at the time of booking are non-refundable.
If you are unsatisfied with our service, please contact us within 48 hours of placing your booking or request and we will work to resolve any issues and determine if compensation is due. In the event you have completed your rental and are unhappy with your vehicle, we are happy to assist you in seeking compensation from the operator of the vehicle.
